About Troy Rutter

Troy Rutter took over the helm at Ask The Blogger in September, 2011. Troy has been driving online communities since 1987 when he became one of the youngest hosts on the Commodore computer system Quantumlink at age 14. In 1995, he and a core group of content drivers and  programmers formed Warner Bros. Online, where he started the community initiatives of the corporation by leading the community efforts for The Rosie O’Donnell Show, The Drew Carey Show, Babylon 5, Friends, ER and the entire Warner Bros. portfolio of properties.  He was also in charge of over 100 community leaders on America Online and conducted some of the most popular online chats with celebrities in AOL’s People Connection. Troy spearheaded the company’s AcmeCity homepage initiative in conjunction with FortuneCity.

He left the company in 2001 shortly after launching the community portal called  Platform 9 3/4 for the popular harrypotter.com.

Troy is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and appeared on episodes of 7th Heaven, wrote puzzles for the TV game show Pictionary, and has acted in several independent films.  He published his first book, Kids in the Biz, in 2004.

About Jim Kukral

Jim started work in the Internet business in 1995, mostly in the trenches writing code, designing websites and managing large projects for one of the USA’s first Web firms based in Cleveland, OH. Jim is credited with building some of the first major Fortune 500 websites and blogs in America. His work has been viewed by millions around the world.

On stage is where Jim really finds his passion. As a professional speaker Jim has presented to thousands of people at many different events all across America on the topics of Web-entrepreneurism, success and failure, Internet marketing and more.

Most recently, Jim published a book is about attention marketing. Attention! This Book Will Make You Money tells stories from businesses and brands that are effectively using creative marketing campaigns and attention-getting ideas to drive more sales, leads or publicity.
