What’s the best way to find quality products and services to resell as an affiliate on my blog or website?
AsktheBlogger answered this question in the post before, but wanted to give some more ideas about how to find quality affiliate programs to promote on your blog or website.
A great trick to finding high-quality affiliate programs in your niche is to simply look at your competitors sites. Do a search on Google for websites or blogs in your industry, then look on their sites for ads. All you have to do then is simply track down the advertiser’s website and look for the affiliate sign-up link.
The point is, you should follow the competition and do and use what works for others. Chances are, the website that is running the affiliate ad has probably done the research already to choose which program works best, so why not follow their lead?

What’s the best way to find quality products and services to resell as an affiliate on my blog or website?
That’s a great question, and one that EVERY new affiliate faces when they start their career in affiliate marketing. AsktheBlogger has been involved in the affiliate business since 2001, as an affiliate, a merchant and has worked on the agency side of the business. So I should know a little bit about this topic. :)
Where Do I Start?
The very first place to start finding programs is by joining the Affiliate Networks. Now, here’s where it gets scary for new people. There are tons of affiliate networks to choose from, and joining them all can take a lot of time.
Don’t get scared away, start with one of the best.
Join ShareaSale.com as an affiliate, it’s free.
Once you join ShareaSale, you simply need to search for programs that match your website or blog. For example.
If you have a blog about debt consolidation, you would find an advertiser inside ShareaSale that offers free debt consolidation help. All you do then is apply to join the program, get approved, then grab either banner or text links and put those ads on your blog.
AsktheBlogger suggests you look at the following affiliate network resource lists, written by long-time and respected affiliate guru Allan Gardyne. Associate Programs Affiliate Network List.
