How Can I Get Free Content For My Blog?

Question: How can you get free content for your blog. Is there a tool that can automatically feed your blog?

I have a question for you dear reader, and that is…

Why do you want free content for your blog?

I ask, because I cannot think of one legitimate reason why you would want to not write your own original, high-quality content for your blog. Can you?

It makes no sense, unless you’re looking to try and create an MFA, or “Made for Adsense” site. And personally, that’s not something I recommend, because Google is cracking down on this practice, and you will get your account banned for life.

Not to mention that “taking” content from someone else is copyright infringement. Why should you be able to take content from someone and use it for your own purposes? You shouldn’t.

Again, concentrate on writing high-quality, original content for your blog and you’ll win long-term.

Bloggers wanting free content can get content that is absolutely free once they write a powerful article. And how is that? In the form of user generated content — comments, that is. I have seen a pithy article turn into a nice conversation piece, much longer than the original article. This adds value to the article and increases the likelihood that the article will achieve a decent PageRank as well as help out the entire blog.

Free content is just simply regurgitated verbiage.

Great point. Comments are free content. So again, write good quality content to encourage comments.

I think this all boils down to the fact that not everyone is cut out to write high quality, original content.

It takes a certain skill and patience to be able to engage and retain an audience with your writing.

So while the blogosphere removes the old barriers to entry in getting yourself noticed, it doesn’t necessarily improve the writing skill of the Average Joe

Excellent post. I appreciate and share your attitude. If I find that they are stealing my blog feed, I immediately file a complaint of DMCA violation with their webhost. If it’s just a photograph or a single post, I send an e-mail. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to see my intellectual property removed from a thief’s website.
